Today, many enterprises are entering the quest to deliver renewable fuel to the marketplace and some participate in only part of the value chain from feedstock to transportation fuel. Moreover, as the number of renewable fuel producers increases, the need to increase feedstock supply and diversity is becoming more critical. We therefore founded RenewAgility to share our knowledge and experience with the industry to address this need for information regarding sources and quality of renewable feedstock and contribute to the success of the industry.
Lance Baird
Founder & Managing Partner
Lance is a chemical engineer with over 40 years of worldwide experience in hydrocarbon process development, catalyst and adsorbent commercialization, and pilot-through-commercial scale-up of renewable fuel technologies.
At Honeywell UOP, he led programs that delivered hundreds of millions in new product value across novel catalyst, adsorbent, and process technologies — including thermochemical conversion of biomass and other renewable feedstocks to transportation fuel. He holds 21 patents and 16 published applications. Lance is the Founder & Managing Partner of RenewAgility LLC, providing feedstock supply chain development and benchmarking data across the renewable fuels value chain. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Washington State University.
Dan Kim
Commercial Advisor
Dan is a chemical engineer who has been working in the energy industry for over 30 years and renewable fuels for over 5 years. He has worked across the value chain of both traditional and renewable energy and fuels.
He previously led production and development efforts at renewable fuels companies across multiple pathways and was formerly a Senior Director of Business Development at Pilot Flying J. He is co-founder of Aerovida Bio – company focused on the development of renewable fuel infrastructure through ecosystem collaboration.
